Dr. Melissa Campbell
Dr. Campbell is a board-certified chiropractor with advanced clinical training in functional neurology. Her path into this work is both professional and deeply personal. While completing her undergraduate studies in Canada, she experienced unsettling neurological episodes that left doctors searching for answers. It was ultimately her chiropractor who identified the issue as vertigo and treated it successfully—an experience that brought her relief and inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others navigate similarly complex and confusing symptoms.
After earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree magna cum laude from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Campbell spent six years at one of the top chiropractic neurology clinics in the United States. There, she worked with patients from across the country and internationally, gaining extensive experience in assessing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions. She has completed over 300 hours of postgraduate training through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, a global leader in clinical neuroscience education. Today, she brings this depth of knowledge to her own practice, Resonance Chiropractic Neurology, where care is personalized, thoughtful, and grounded in trust.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Campbell has contributed to the advancement of functional neurology through research and conference presentations. She has co-authored and presented clinical case studies at the International Symposium on Clinical Neuroscience, including:
- “Dysautonomia and Migraine Managed with Chiropractic Functional Neurology Treatments” (2016), published in Frontiers in Neurology, highlights the use of sensory-based neurological therapies to address autonomic dysfunction underlying chronic migraines.
- “Resolution of Adhesive Capsulitis Using Limb Mobilization and Cutaneous Afferent Stimulation” (2018), also published in Frontiers in Neurology, demonstrates the rapid restoration of shoulder function through mobilization and targeted sensory input.
Dr. Campbell blends her expertise in neurology with a strong background in human movement, allowing her to create targeted rehabilitation plans for people recovering from concussion and post-concussion syndromes, migraines, dysautonomia and POTS, movement disorders, stroke, chronic pain, and other complex neurological and sensory conditions. Her approach is guided by a simple but powerful question: “What is the purpose behind this intervention, and how does it serve the individual in front of me?” This mindset ensures that every treatment plan is shaped by each patient’s unique needs, goals, and experiences.
